Krytox™ oils for gearbox applications are specialty lubricant oils formulated from a synthetic PFPE (perfluoropolyether) base oil. These gearbox lubricants are blended for use in cold to ambient temperatures and are formulated without additives for peace of mind. Krytox™ performance lubricants are incredibly pure and entirely chemically inert, meaning they are nonreactive with O-rings, valves, seals, and other material components. Krytox™ gearbox oils are also nonflammable, enhancing the safety of the overall gear system while exhibiting a best-in-class temperature range from as low as −36°C to as high as 200°C.
