Vazo™ is a line of azonitrile based compounds that are used as initiators for free radical polymerization. They are available in a variety of grades for various applications and are classified by their thermal decomposition temperature. Vazo™ Free Radical Initiators are useful for initiating the polymerization of high molecular weight polymers that must have a specific configuration because the free radicals produced by Vazo™ do not abstract hydrogen from growing polymer chains.
