Overview
Viton™ VC-30 is a cross-linking curative that contains 50% BpAF and 50% Viton™ polymer. It is used to cure A, B, and F types of Viton™ fluoroelastomers. The usage level of Viton™ VC-30 in a formulation determines the state of the cure: the typical usage level is 2.5 to 4.5 phr.
Viton™ VC-30 curative is used along with Viton™ VC-20 to adjust the cure state and cure rate. Viton™ VC-30 cannot be used with PMVE-containing fluoroelastomers.
