Viton™ GBL-600S is a high viscosity peroxide-curable fluoropolymer gum that has excellent low temperature properties and improved resistance to automotive lubricating oils and fluids.
Viton™ GBL-600S is a fluoroelastomer gum that is manufactured using Advanced Polymer Architecture (APA) technology. Viton™ GBL-600S has 68% fluorine content and is composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP), vinylidene fluoride (VF₂) and tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) with a peroxide cure site.
Viton™ GBL-600S offers excellent resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, water, steam and acids. It is also easy to process and provides low-temperature resistance. Viton™ GBL-600S has a higher viscosity than Viton™ GBL-200S, but they can be blended for an intermediate viscosity.
