Viton™ A-331C, formerly VTR-6676, is a precompounded fluoropolymer with excellent mold flow that provides high elongation and tear resistance. Viton™ A-331C is designed for the injection and compression molding of complex shapes that require maximum hot tear.
Viton™ A-331C fluoroelastomer is a fully precompounded A-type dipolymer composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP) and vinylidene fluoride (VF₂). Viton™ A-331C contains 66% fluorine content and offers excellent hot -tear resistance and low viscosity. The low viscosity of Viton™ A-331C makes it suitable for compression molding.
