ROBOND™ L-90M is a water-based acrylic adhesive used primarily to laminate substrates to create flexible packaging.
ROBOND™ L-90M can be used on its own as a one-component adhesive, or it can be used in combination with coreactant CR 9-101 as a two-component system to improve shear strength, chemical resistance, and heat resistance. It is used to laminate treated polyolefins, PVDC-coated substrates, metallized films, and nylon. These laminations are typically used to create flexible packaging for food and beverages. ROBOND™ L-90M has incredibly fast bond development when used with CR 9-101, and laminates can be slit in as little as 5 minutes after coating. The quick postprocessing speeds, coupled with a long pot life and low foaming properties, allow for increased efficiency of water-based lamination operations. This adhesive is ready to use at the solids level supplied or may be diluted to meet specific application requirements.
