PARALOID™ EXL-2300 is an acrylic core shell impact modifier additive based on butyl-acrylate rubber core.
PARALOID™ EXL-2300 is an acrylic core shell impact modifier additive based on butyl-acrylate rubber core. As an impact modifier additive this grade functions with temperatures as low as –10°C while providing good thermal and UV stability. PARALOID™ EXL-2300 may also provide improved part surface finish with decent retention and part rigidity.
In Notched Izod strength tests, PARALOID™ EXL-2300 increases the toughness of polycarbonate to super-tough performance at a modifier loading rate as low as 3%, even in thick sections of the polymer matrix. This grade improves the retention properties after ageing when exposed to thermal properties.
