PARALOID™ EXL-2390 is an acrylic impact modifier from Dow that offers exceptional low-temperature performance coupled with high-class weatherability for polycarbonates and engineered resins.
Dow PARALOID™ EXL-2390 acrylic impact modifier is designed for highly demanding applications when low-temperature performance and weathering resistance are required. PARALOID™ EXL-2390 provides outstanding impact strength to polycarbonates (PC), polycarbonate blends, and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) formulations. PARALOID™ EXL-2390 acrylic core-shell copolymer offers unique acrylic composition with a glass transition temperature lower than -50ºC. This allows for better tensile strength at a lower temperature compared to competitive acrylic impact modifiers. Furthermore, Dow PARALOID™ EXL-2390 is ideal for high-demanding industrial plastics, such as automotive, roofing, telecom hardware, and electronics.
