Overview
MOLYKOTE® 3099 HVIC (high-voltage insulator coating) Compound is a silicone-based, greaselike coating for electrical insulators. MOLYKOTE® 3099 HVIC provides excellent, long-term resistance to water filming and flashover and includes an arc-resistant filler to inhibit arc growth.
MOLYKOTE® 3099 HVIC provides good adhesion in an easy-to-use product that does not become stringy and messy. The opaque gray appearance of MOLYKOTE® 3099 HVIC Compound allows for quick visual confirmation of surface coverage and identifies any potential gaps on the surface.
