Chlorinated Polyolefin
CP 343-1-100% is a chlorinated polypropylene polymer in solid powder form. This polymer is also commercially available in solution. CP 343-1-100% is most often used in solvent based primer formulations that are used on untreated polypropylene, aluminum, and galvanized steel. Primers formulated with CP 343-1-100% show excellent humidity resistance and are most commonly used for improving adhesion of coatings, paints, adhesives, and inks to low energy surfaces.
Poor adhesion of coatings, inks, and adhesives to polypropylene and other plastics
Failure of primers caused by high humidity
