CP 515-2-40% is a solution of chlorinated polyolefin in Xylene that is used as an additive to promote adhesion of inks, coatings, and adhesives to plastic.
The CP 515-2 polymer is a highly chlorinated polypropylene that exhibits excellent compatibility with solution grade binder resins. It is useful as an additive to solvent borne coatings, inks, and adhesives to improve adhesion to polyolefin based plastics and metal. CP 515-2-40% in xylene is the solution grade of the CP 515-2 polymer at 40% solids in Xylene. It can easily be stirred-in to formulations at 5 parts CP 515-2 by weight to 100 parts binder solids to optimize adhesion performance.
