Thetapel™ fluoropolymers, made by Innovative Chemical Technologies (ICT), are solvent-soluble fluorinated polymers that impart excellent repellency properties against water, oil, and stains. They also function as wetting and leveling agents to improve coverage in solvent-based formulations. Thetapel™ is commonly used in ambient-temperature-curing repellent formulations used to provide stain resistance for apparel, upholstery fabric, and leather surfaces. It may also be used in solvent-based coating, cleaner, and some wax and polish applications.
