Thetawet™ Fluorosurfactants

Thetawet™ is a line of short-chain fluorosurfactants made by Innovative Chemical Technologies, or ICT. These products are an excellent choice for improving wetting, leveling, liquid penetration, and foam generation and stabilization. Thetawet™ effectively reduces surface tension with low end-use concentrations, matching the performance of long-chain fluorinated surfactants that have been restricted or banned due to PFAS regulations. These surfactants comply with the U.S. EPA 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program and are typically used alongside other surfactants to enhance efficacy. Thetawet™ fluorosurfactants are used in various applications, including paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, cleaners, mold release coatings, degreasers, and oilfield brines. In these applications, Thetawet™ helps reduce surface tension, improving wetting and leveling. Where necessary, certain grades of Thetawet™ also help improve the stability of foams and emulsions. Thetawet™ may be used for both aqueous and solvent-based formulations.
