Microthene® FA 700-00 is a 20-micron high-density polyethylene powder with a melt index of 10.
LyondellBasell Microthene® FA 700-00 is a 20-micron, ultrafine, spherically shaped polyethylene powder used as a polymer additive in a broad range of polyolefin and elastomer applications. Microthene® polyethylene powders offer the properties of polyolefin resins but in a microfine particle size, making Microthene® FA 700-00 suitable for dispersion in aqueous systems.
LyondellBasell Microthene® FA 700-00 has the highest melt index of all the Microthene® grades. It offers flow-enhancing dispersibility and comprises high-density polyethylene (HDPE) powders. Microthene® FA 700-00 HDPE powder can be a processing aid for pultrusion applications, a dusting agent for tacky polymers, an additive for coatings and adhesives, and a binding agent.
