Polyaziridine Crosslinker AN-2201 is a water-soluble trifunctional aziridine crosslinker recommended for both aqueous and non-aqueous systems for various applications, such as adhesives, pressure-sensitive additives (PSA), textile printing, and finishings, printing inks, over-print varnishes, and coatings for wood and leather. Upon use, the aziridine functional groups react with active hydrogen atoms within polymer resin structures, curing at room temperature to improve the chemical and physical properties of systems while providing excellent color and clarity. Polyaziridine Crosslinker AN-2201 imparts exceptional durability and hardness to coating systems with resistance to water, humidity, detergents, chemicals, abrasion, scuffs, and more. It also provides a wide range of additional benefits, including fast cure time, high crosslink density, tack modification, anti-wicking properties, and excellent adhesion to low-energy substrates.
Polyaziridine Crosslinker AN-2201 reacts quickly in the presence of an acidic medium and should be used in alkaline systems with a pH range of 8 to 10. Polyaziridine Crosslinker AN-2201 should be added slowly to coating systems under adequate agitation just before use to ensure even distribution.
