DIABEAM™ UM-1280T is a UV-curable coating that can be used as a topcoat for various applications to enhance the appearance and heat and humidity resistance of the vapor deposition layer. As part of Mitsubishi's UM coating line, it is formulated to polymerize upon exposure to UV light for use as a topcoat for metal vapor deposition to aluminum, tin, and indium. It can be used in automotive exterior and interior parts, such as ADAS (advanced driver-assistance systems), meter rings, switches, and millimeter wave radar emblems.
