jER™ YX8040 is a high-purity, alicyclic epoxy resin with low chlorine content and high transparency. Its transparent appearance makes it ideal for optical materials such as LED encapsulants and adhesives for displays. This hydrogenated, bisphenol A-type solid epoxy resin functions as a binder, a coupling agent, and an adhesion promoter. This resin is supplied in flake form.
