Armolube^® AW 102 is a biodegradable performance additive for metalworking and industrial fluids. Formulated by Nouryon with a renewable carbon index of greater than 50%, this surfactant is a sustainable, ashless alternative to other additives on the market. It contains alcohol alkoxylated phosphate ester, which has excellent anionic emulsifying properties and low foaming characteristics. In metalworking applications, Armolube^® AW 102 reduces friction between metal surfaces, preventing premature wear and protecting components and equipment during demanding operating conditions. Due to its wide compatibility, most metals, including ferrous alloys, copper, and aluminum, are protected from corrosion and staining. Armolube^® AW 102 also has excellent wetting capabilities and strong dispersion and detergency properties. It can be used as an additive for industrial lubricants, metalworking fluid, soluble oil, neat oil, and semi-synthetic and synthetic oils.
