Overview
PCC Chemax's Rokolub® 50-B-1000 is a high–molecular weight, high-viscosity polyalkylene glycol (PAG) base oil based on ethoxylated and propoxylated butanol. It is produced from an equivalent ratio of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide and contains one terminal hydroxyl group. The base oil provides excellent lubricity and high-pressure resistance, as well as superior thermal and oxidative stability, clean-residue characteristics, and compatibility across aqueous formulations. Rokolub® 50-B-1000 is well suited for use in synthetic compressor fluid, hydraulic fluid, metalworking fluid, and other specialty industrial lubricants.
