FASCAT® 4102 is a multifunctional catalyst suitable for a wide range of chemical intermediate production processes. Through transesterifications, silanol condensations, and urethane cross-linking processes, a diverse range of end applications can be achieved. This catalyst, being in liquid form, can be readily integrated into the end product without the need for removal.

Catalyzes esterification and polycondensation reactions at temperatures between 210°C and 240°C
Significantly shortens esterification cycle times compared to uncatalyzed systems
Minimizes side reactions such as ether formation from polyhydric alcohols
Does not require neutralization or filtration at the end of production
Can be charged up front with other reactants
Requires no special handling other than avoiding excessive exposure to moisture
