The FASCAT® 4224 catalyst, also known as dibutyltin bis(thioglyceride), is a transparent and lightly tinted liquid additive specifically designed for use in aqueous coatings and adhesives.
FASCAT® 4224 is a very selective polyurethane system proven to have hydrolytic stability. This makes it useful in aqueous coatings and adhesives. FASCAT® 4224 is particularly effective in situations where the adhesive or coating requires a prolonged period to remain in a liquid state but will rapidly solidify when exposed to high temperatures, such as in a hot mold or oven.
