POLYOX™ WSR N-3000 LS has the same characteristics as POLYOX™ WSR N-3000, except LS version has a low silicon dioxide level of less than 1.5WT%.
POLYOX™ WSR N-3000 is typically used in fluorescent lamp phosphors or as phosphor binders in cathode ray tubes. POLYOX™ is a polyethylene oxide thickener and water-soluble. It is widely used as binder, lubricant, thickener and water retention aid. They form flexible, and tough film which are resistant to oils and greases. The viscoelastic properties enable reduction of spattering and misting. Due to its thermoplasticity PEOs can be extruded, injection molded or casted. Most common applications are ceramics, industrial cleaning products, electronics, mining, paper and adhesives.
