Overview
PEG-6000S is a polyoxyethylene glycol (PEG) with a high average molecular weight and excellent binding capabilities. Formulated in flake form, this PEG provides exceptional solubility in water, including hard water, aqueous saline solutions, acids, and alkalis, as its solubility is not affected by the presence of electrolytes. Its high molecular weight provides excellent physical and chemical properties, imparting various other benefits, such as low toxicity and irritancy, making it suitable for use in personal care and toiletry formulations, such as powder cosmetics, hair care, skincare, and detergents. It also exhibits lubrication, solvency, moisturization, moistening, softening, anticaking, dustproofing, and more.
