ROYALTUF™ 498 a maleic anhydride grafted EPDM used for increasing low-temperature impact resistance of polyamides. It is ideal for recycled polyamide compounds.
ROYALTUF™ 498 is a maleic anhydride grafted EPDM impact modifier for polyamides. Imparts "super tough" properties to nylon when used at a 20% load rate. As a result of having an amorphous backbone, ROYALTUF™ 498 improves impact resistance when used at temperatures as low as -46 °C.
