Overview
EMAC® SP2242 is a 20% ethylene methyl acrylate (EMA) copolymer formulated with slip and antiblocking additives manufactured to produce blown and cast films. EMAC® SP2242 contains slip and antiblocking agents that allow for easier film handling and a low coefficient of friction necessary for various applications.
It is also ideal for extrusion, compounding, and blending, where it offers good polymer compatibility and high filler acceptance. Common applications for EMAC® SP2242 include flexible films, medical films, disposable gloves, instrument covers, silk/quiet films, and batch inclusion films.
