EMAC® SP2413 is a high–molecular weight ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer containing 16.5% methyl acrylate used for heat seal layers, blown films, and wire and cable jacketing applications.
EMAC® SP2413 is a high-performance ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer that can be easily processed via extrusion or molding or may be compounded with other polymers. Containing 16.5% ethylene methyl acrylate content, this material has a high molecular weight and is typically used for heat seal layers, blown films, and wire and cable jacketing, where it exhibits excellent adhesion and compatibility with various polymers. It is also highly soft and flexible despite not containing plasticizers. It may also be used as an impact modifier.
