DOW offers a full range of DOWCAL™ heat transfer fluids – including both ethylene glycol and propylene glycol based fluids – to meet your specific system requirements. DOWCAL™ fluid are used successfully in a wide range of applications, from renewable energy, HVCA systems, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and food processing. DOWCAL™ 100E and DOWCAL™ 200E are designed to work at operating temperature ranges of -50°C to 175°C. DOWCAL™ N has a recommended range from -50°C to 120°C. Efficiency and operating conditions can differ within those temperature ranges.

DOWCAL™ 100E and DOWCAL™ 200E Heat Transfer Fluids are free of Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) according to REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. Both new heat transfer fluid formulations offer reliable, economical and sustainable solutions for long-term performance protection heat transfer fluids system. CMR (cancerogenic, mutagenic, and reprotoxic) materials and components such as borate, nitrite, nitrate are not used in the DOWCAL 100E and DOWCAL 200E Fluids.

DOWCAL™ eGEO heat transfer fluid is an ethylene glycol-based fluid intended for use in geothermal heat pump systems. A typical ground source heat pump (GSHP) will circulate DOWCAL™ eGEO dilution through the geothermal coils using the earth's constant temperature to exchange hot air for cooler in the summer and cold air for warmer in the winter months.
DOWCAL™ 200 heat transfer fluid is a propylene glycol-based fluid. This fluid is low in acute oral toxicity and contains a specially formulated inhibitor package that helps prevent corrosion of materials common in HVAC constructions, food and beverage processing, and other systems.
DOWCAL™ pGEO heat transfer fluid is a propylene glycol-based fluid intended for geothermal heat pump systems. A typical ground source heat pump (GSHP) will circulate DOWCAL™ pGEO dilution through the geothermal coils using the earth's constant temperature to exchange hot air for cooler in the summer and cold air for warmer in the winter months. DOWCAL™ N heat transfer fluid is a NSF/FDA -approved, propylene glycol-based fluid that is low in acute oral toxicity and widely used to depress freeze points in food, poultry, beverage processing and in other applications. DOWCAL™ N features a specially formulated corrosion inhibitor package and can be used for direct and indirect food additive applications.
