Trilene® CP-80 is a high-viscosity and low-molecular weight Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer (EPDM) liquid for use in elastomers, lubricants, grease, and oils.
Lion Elastomers Trilene® CP-80 is an Ethylene Propylene copolymer (EPDM) liquid additive used as a plasticizer in rubber compounds. Unlike the other Trilene® terpolymers, CP-80 does not crosslink with the resin but can still offer the benefit of a non-blooming plasticizer without degrading the mechanical properties of the compound. It is less viscous than other terpolymers and can be used in applications that need FDA approval. Lion Elastomers Trilene® CP-80 liquid EPDM can also be used in lubricant, oil, and grease formulations as a thickener providing good shear properties and low-temperature flexibility.
