DOWFROST™ HD is a heavy-duty, inhibited propylene glycol (PG) heat transfer fluid designed for demanding closed-loop heating and cooling systems that need strong corrosion protection, reliable freeze protection, and long fluid life. It is fluorescent yellow-green for easier leak detection. Suitable for heat transfer applications between −45°C and 160°C (−50°F and 325°F).

DOWFROST™ HD is a heat transfer fluid formulated with an elevated corrosion inhibitor package to protect system metals and help extend equipment life in closed-loop systems. Consisting of ~94% propylene glycol with a specially designed industrial corrosion inhibitor package, and the fluorescent dye supports faster leak detection during operation and maintenance.
DOWFROST™ HD is designed for wide operating conditions (including higher-temperature capability vs standard DOWFROST™ in many systems for HVAC and industrial heat transfer applications where low acute oral toxicity is preferred. Typical use includes chilled water and hydronic loops, geothermal systems, snow melt, cold storage secondary loops, and other closed-loop heat transfer applications.
