Product Description
Hydraulic Fluids not only act as the fluid power medium, they lubricate hydraulic system parts. Hydraulic pump units are subjected to high system pressures and pump speeds. This can create conditions of thin-film lubrication and cause eventual mechanical wear unless the fluid contains special protective additives. Along with proper viscosity selection, lubricants should also be selected for proper oxidation and thermal stability, rust and corrosion prevention, anti-wear, seal compatibility, flammability and other potential important requirements.
