Overview
BONDERITE® S-AD 3305 (previously known as RODINE 3305) is a low-viscosity inhibitor for hydrochloric acid metal pickling operations, including batch and continuous processes. This acid inhibitor improves wetting performance and scale and rust removal, increases the useful life of the pickle bath, and protects base metal surfaces from acid attack. It can also help reduce toxic fumes and hydrochloric acid usage. BONDERITE® S-AD 3305 should be used in amounts from 0.02% to 1.0% by volume.

Problems Solved
Without the use of inhibitors during hydrochloric acid pickling operations, metal parts are more prone to pitting and smutting. Additionally, the useful life of the pickling bath is shortened, and operators can be exposed to excessive fumes.
