Rokolub® 50-B-680 is a water-soluble polyalkylene glycol (PAG) base oil produced by PCC Chemax from ethoxylated and propoxylated butanol. It features an equal weight ratio of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide and has a high ISO 680 viscosity. This base oil provides outstanding anti-wear and extreme-pressure performance while maintaining stable viscosity across a wide operating range. With all-weather compatibility, Rokolub® 50-B-680 can remain stable in temperatures as low as −30°C. It is suitable for demanding lubricant formulations, such as compressor oil, industrial gearbox lubricants, bearing fluid, and metalworking lubricants.

When hydraulic fluid, compressor oil, and other industrial lubricants are not properly formulated with the right base oil, equipment faces several challenges, such as friction, wear, heat-related failures, and unplanned maintenance and downtime. Poor anti-wear and lubrication properties lead to premature wear and damaged components, while poor thermal and oxidative stability create oil degradation, sludge, and varnish.
