Overview
EMAC® SP2268 is an ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer that provides high performance at low temperatures and exhibits excellent polymer compatibility and adhesion. Containing 24% ethylene methyl acrylate and no plasticizers, it is a soft and flexible polymer that creates a high degree of durability and flexibility. EMAC® SP2268 can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, or lamination processes to produce flexible packaging, films, disposable gloves, and extrusion coatings and laminations. It has a melting point of 76°C and a brittleness temperature of less than −73°C. Its noncorrosive nature and ability to be filled with high solids make it a suitable choice for many compounding applications with broad polymer compatibility and adhesion to paper, polyesters, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, PVC, ionomers, and other polar polymers.
