Overview
HiTEC® 2505 zinc-free performance additive is a best-in-class solution for formulating turbine oils for open and combined cycle turbines, as well as gas and steam-driven turbines. This turbine oil additive package is engineered with a patented antioxidant system for unrivaled deposit, sludge, and varnish control. It provides advanced filterability and stay-clean performance to turbine oils, improving the lifetime of valves, bearings, and filters and preventing unplanned maintenance. Demulsifiers are formulated into the additive package to prevent water ingress. Additionally, silicone-free antifoam prevents foaming and air entrapment, maintaining the operational integrity and longevity of turbine systems. HiTEC® 2505 turbine oil additive can be blended with suitable Group I, II, and III base oils.

Problems Solved
Because turbines often operate at high temperatures and loads, oils are more prone to oxidation, leading to harmful sludge and varnish formation that can impact machinery, cause wear and corrosion, and incur hefty maintenance costs and downtime.
