HiTEC® 313G extreme-pressure additive delivers controlled sulfur activity for highly loaded gear applications.
HiTEC® 313G ashless, sulfur-based additive delivers exceptional extreme-pressure (EP) performance for grease formulations. Its high sulfur content provides more controlled sulfur activity than its counterpart HiTEC® 312G. When used in combination with HiTEC® 4313 corrosion inhibitor, the sulfur additive shows little reactivity to copper-containing alloys. HiTEC® 313G is particularly useful in grease applications to protect equipment experiencing shock-load conditions and working surfaces under high loads. It also acts as an excellent booster to pass FZG, 4-ball weld, and other EP tests.

In high-load grease applications where metal surfaces have increased contact, equipment is more susceptible to wear, damage, and costly failure. Sulfur additives with low sulfur content and insufficient sulfur activity may not be capable of protecting working surfaces under extreme loads.
