BASF Superabsorbent Polymers for Gel Packs
Superabsorbent polymers are sodium polyacrylate-based polymers that are engineered with high affinity for liquid absorption and can retain extremely large amounts of water relative to its own mass. SAPs are used in a variety of consumer and industrial applications, such as gel packs, hot and cool packs, absorbent and incontinence pads, baby diapers, waste disposal, and agriculture applications.
