UCON™ HTF 500 is a polyalkylene glycol (PAG) thermal fluid for liquid-phase, high-temperature transfer applications up to 500°F (260°C).
UCON™ HTF 500 PAG-based heat transfer fluid is a performance thermal fluid for closed system heat transfer across a range of industrial applications and temperatures up to 500°F (260°C). UCON™ HTF 500 fluid works well with many common metals, including iron, aluminum, steel, copper, and copper alloys. UCON™ heat transfer fluid also helps prevent rust and corrosion in high-heat environments.
UCON™ HTF 500 heat transfer fluid can be used in various industries, including rubber, plastics, and chemical processing. In addition, UCON™ HTF 500 fluid is utilized in industries with harsh and demanding thermal application requirements. UCON™ heat transfer fluid is also the preferred fluid for heating equipment manufacturers because of its high thermal stability, durability, and overall transfer efficiency. UCON™ glycol heat transfer fluid is noncorrosive, highly versatile, and helps prevent common manufacturing issues such as line plugging and varnish buildup. This thermal fluid can also help limit premature fluid top-offs, reducing overall maintenance costs.
UCON™ heat transfer fluids have a very high flash point and fire point, making them excellent and reliable thermal heat fluids.
