Overview
MOLYKOTE® G-4000 FM is a specialty synthetic grease comprised of a polyalphaolefin (PAO) base oil, an aluminum complex thickener, and a variety of performance additives, including polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). MOLYKOTE® G-4000FM provides NSF H1 approval for food-safe lubrication for various food and beverage processes.
This specialty lubricant also meets FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 for incidental contact applications. MOLYKOTE® G-4000 FM is a multipurpose lubricant solution for applications requiring high-load capacity, wear resistance, and longer service life than traditional lubricants. MOLYKOTE® G-4000 FM provides robust thermal stability and can withstand a wide temperature range of −40°C to 149°C (−40°F to 300°F).
