SYLOID® XDP 3050 is a synthetic amorphous silica containing a high-purity silicon dioxide with superior stability. Specially engineered to be a high-performance lipid carrier with excellent absorption properties, SYLOID® XDP 3050 effectively transforms liquids, such as oily actives and lipid-based systems, to free-flowing solids and allows nutraceutical formulators to achieve solid dosage forms with liquid ingredients. Its specific pore size and bulk density of 275 g/l ensure optimal drug load or lipid delivery in a given volume for table or capsule pharmaceuticals.
