BONDERITE^® C-NE DR 238G (previously known as DR 238G) is a patented neutral cleaning concentrate for in-process precision cleaning. BONDERITE^® C-NE DR 238G removes light to heavy soils from iron and steel alloys at a neutral pH of 6.0 to 7.0. This cleaning solution can be used in a variety of applications, especially where rust and scale removal are needed within tight tolerances. Suitable applications include the reconditioning of automotive parts like cylinder blocks, brake master cylinders, brake shoes, and engine components. BONDERITE^® C-NE DR 238G can also be used to replace alkaline cyanide de-smutting and de-scaling cleaners and eliminate the high waste treatment costs and dangers of working with cyanide. BONDERITE^® C-NE DR 238G does not attack non-ferrous and yellow metals, such as brass, copper, zinc, and aluminum.
