LOCTITE® 620™ is a high-strength retaining compound formulated for its exceptional bonding and sealing properties. It securely bonds cylindrical fitting parts, such as bearings, lock bushings, cylindrical shafts, subfractional horsepower motors, and augmenting press fits, by filling the gaps between them up to 0.2 mm. Its anaerobic formula makes it capable of curing when confined in the absence of air for these close fitting metal surfaces. The compound is particularly effective in preventing loosening, leakage, and corrosion in mechanical assemblies.
LOCTITE® 620™ provides excellent resistance to high temperatures up to 200°C for applications with extreme conditions. Typical applications include locating pins in dilator assemblies, sleeves in pump housings and bearings in auto transmissions. It is easy to apply, requiring minimal surface preparation and cures quickly, forming a durable bond that enhances overall strength and integrity of assemblies.
