Thetawet™ FS-8000 is a 100% actives, nonionic fluorosurfactant designed with short-chain fluorochemical technology. Providing exceptional surface tension reduction, Thetawet™ FS-8000 is a low-melting, waxy solid that can be incorporated into nonaqueous, water-sensitive, or solvent-reducible applications at low end-use concentrations (10 to 100 ppm). It helps enable superior wetting and leveling on low-energy substrates, such as plastics, metals, oily substrates, waxy surfaces, and silicone- and fluoropolymer-treated fabrics. Once applied, Thetawet™ FS-8000 helps reduce surface defects, improves gloss, and imparts good antiblocking performance, soil resistance, and weathering resistance. It is ideal for coatings, adhesives, degreasers, cleaners, inks, paints, and more. Thetawet™ FS-8000 is compatible with all surfactant types and maintains stability across extreme pH conditions and in the presence of concentrated acids, bases, oxidizing solutions, and hard and soft water.
