Thetawet™ FS-8225 is a short-chain fluorosurfactant that enhances wetting and leveling in waterborne and solvent-based coatings, adhesives, paints, and waxes. As a 14% solids aqueous emulsion, it effectively provides block resistance, reduced foaming, gloss development, and more. It forms a tough, durable film resistant to harsh operational and environmental conditions, protecting surfaces from abrasions, soiling, and weathering without affecting the overall color or optical properties of surfaces. In coatings, its powerful leveling performance allows for a superior, defect-free surface devoid of fish eyes, pin holes, craters, and other visual defects. Thetawet™ FS-8225 can be used at a level of 0.1% to 0.5% in water-based systems and a level of 0.25% to 0.75% in neat or solvent-based systems.
