TEXTURECEL™ 2000 PA is a low molecular weight, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose polymer that is used as a binder in lithium ion battery electrodes.
TEXTURECEL™ 2000 PA is a high purity sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). It has a relatively low molecular weight and produces solutions with a viscosity of 2000 cP at 2% weight in water. TEXTURECEL™ CRT 2000 PA is used as a rheology modifier for water borne coating, ink, and adhesive formulations. TEXTURECEL™ CRT 2000 PA is also used as a binder in ceramic applications to improve the green strength of formed ceramic parts. This helps to reduce defects and improves efficiency. In lithium ion battery anodes, TEXTURECEL™ CRT 2000 PA is used as a binder for active and conductive material. It has an extremely high purity and its water soluble nature makes TEXTURECEL™ CRT 2000 PA a safer more environmentally friendly binder than traditional solvent soluble fluoropolymers.
