Nichigo G-Tape™ 5808BK is a single-sided tape composed of a laminated polyethylene cloth coated with a proprietary acrylic adhesive. It offers excellent UV shielding and high weatherability in order to protect outdoor assemblies from damage in severe environments. It also exhibits high dimensional stability and resistance to flames, water, chemicals, and solvents while maintaining residue-free removal even after 1 year of sunlight exposure. Nichigo G-Tape™ 5808BK is halogen-free making it an environment-harmonizing product appropriate for use in long-term applications and surface protection of CFRP-made parts and assemblies.
