Nichigo G-Tape™ 5808BK is a halogen-free, single-sided acrylic adhesive tape with superior weather resistance and flame retardancy. Its excellent UV shielding capabilities help block over 99% of damage from all UV rays and still maintain residue-free removal, even after one year of sunlight exposure in outdoor applications.
Nichigo G-Tape™ 5808BK is a single-sided tape composed of a laminated polyethylene cloth coated with a proprietary acrylic adhesive. It offers excellent UV shielding and high weatherability to protect outdoor assemblies from damage in severe environments. It also exhibits high dimensional stability and resistance to flames, water, chemicals, and solvents while maintaining residue-free removal, even after one year of sunlight exposure. Nichigo G-Tape™ 5808BK is halogen free, making it an environment-harmonizing product appropriate for use in long-term applications and surface protection of CFRP-made parts and assemblies.
