Overview
SilForce™ SS4191A is a 30% solids solution of a silicone polymer in toluene. It is used as the base resin in a general purpose, tin catalyzed, condensation cure release coating system. SilForce™ SS4191A is considered an easy release polymer and will adhere well to a wide variety of films to create a low energy surface with a low easy release force. The release force of SilForce™ SS4191A is low enough that it will provide free release to even the most aggressive adhesives. In addition, the cured film of SilForce™ SS4191 is rich in silyl hydride groups that provide anchorage for methyl silicone pressure sensitive adhesives.

Applications
SilForce™ SS4191A is recommended to be used in conjunction with the crosslinker SilForce™ SS4191B and the catalyst SilForce™ SS4192C to produce a versatile release coating that is useful in aerospace, automotive, electronic, packaging, and converting applications.
The SilForce™ SS4191 release coating system is most often applied to films using conventional coating methods to produce low coating weight release liners and adhesive tapes.
