SilForce™ UV9430 is a cycloaliphatic epoxy functional polymer that is used in combination with SilForce™ UV9380C or UV9390C photocatalyst as a photocurable release coating system for temperature sensitive films. This system can be used on its own to coat paper and plastic films to make release liners with a tight (high peel) release of pressure sensitive adhesives. SilForce™ UV9430 can also be blended with other SilForce™ polymers like UV9315 to fine tune release properties and peel strength. Most often release coatings based on SilForce™ UV9430 are used on release liners for labels. SilForce™ UV9430 release coatings can be applied using typical solventless laminating techniques and do not require an oxygen free environment. They have a long bath life and are non-hazardous
