SilForce™ SL5000 is a polysiloxane component of an addition curing release coating system used in the manufacture of pressure sensitive tapes and labels.
SilForce™ SL5000 is a methyl vinyl polysiloxane polymer that is used in a multi component release coating system. It is most often used to provide clean and easy release of tapes and labels form backing material. The release coating system consists of tight release polymers, easy release polymers, a cross linking agent, inhibitors, and catalysts. SilForce™ SL5000 is an easy release polymer and should be used when low peel force is desired for release or to lower the release characteristics of a tight release polymer.
