SilForce™ SS8010 is a chloroplatinic acid solution. It is designed to be used in combination with Momentive's SIlForce™ SS4331 and SilForce™ SS4300C in a three part addition cure release coating system. The system can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the levels of the three components. Increasing SilForce™ SS8010 increases cure speed and productivity while decreasing the content reduces cost. This release coating system provides premium release from paper, foil, and plastic substrates. It is ideally suited for label and tape applications and can be applied by direct gravure, Mayer rod, reverse roll, and roll coating. It is important to note higher levels of SilForce™ SS8010 reduce the bah life of the coating. Batch size and catalyst levels should be optimized to meet production requirements.
